Ar John Wong
John PL Wong, past president of HKIA, studied architecture in Hong Kong, Germany and Canada. He started his early career teaching design studio at the Department of Architecture, HKU, where he now teaches contract management part-time. He has broad experience in residential, commercial and institutional projects, both in Hong Kong and mainland China, and is a director of Lu Tang Lai Architects Ltd.

Ar Thomas Wan
Mr. Wan Chuck Kwan Thomas, Chief Architect, Architectural Services Department, HKSAR. Mr. Wan graduated from Cambridge University and joined the Architectural Services Department in 1995. He is a Chief Architect of the Department. His best known projects, the Stanley Complex and the Tin Shui Wai Leisure & Cultural Building, were awarded the HKIA Medal of the Year in 2006 & 2011 respectively. They also received the International Architectural Awards (IAA) in 2014, the Grand Award for GBA 2008 and the Finalist of 6 for WAN Awards in 2011. His latest projects, the Community Green Station in Shatin and HKE received the Highly Commended in WAF Award and Good Design Award Top 100 in 2015, ULI Global Award Winner for 2016, as well as the HKIA President Prize in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Mr. Wan also presented his research paper "Paradigm For Future City in Hong Kong: Revitalizing Urban Spaces" in UIA 2017 in Seoul and was awarded "Outstanding Paper".
