The topic of Journal Issue 77 Symposium is “Re-use”. It explores how the multi-disciplinary nature of heritage discourses has impacted and shaped the design of conservation projects, which, to a certain extent, was traditionally driven mostly by the architect. Thanks to the support of our contributors and editors, this event is the official book launch of Journal Issue 77 and also serves as a public forum to reflect on public participations of the heritage discourse, and to evaluate the potentials and limitations of adaptive reuse in Hong Kong.
