HKAC Archi-Trip 2019: “Turkish Architecture - A Bridge between East and West” 香港建築中心2019年建築之旅:「中西橋樑的土耳其建築」

Good news! HKAC is planning our upcoming Archi-Trip to Turkey from 3 to 13 May 2019.

Having hosted various civilizations, and having been influenced greatly by both Eastern and Western architecture, it results in an expansive architectural experience for Turkey. Due to its unique location and rich history, Turkey has become an open air museum of the world's great architecture with its buildings from Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Ottoman period to modern Turkey.

From the 1950s onward, Turkey was very much under the influence of the modern architecture movement and some of the country’s most important architects began to complete their projects in this era.

This trip is specially curated by KC KING, Corrin CHAN and Humphrey WONG, we will explore more about Turkey’s historical and latest architecture! We will also meet the local architects who will share with us the Turkish Architecture.

Don’t miss out this precious chance of our explorations together!
