HKAC Archi-Walk: ‘Understanding the context of Yuen Long Bridge proposal’

The government has proposed the construction of an elevated pedestrian footbridge over the existing nullah in order to relieve the problem of connection of pedestrian from the centre to the Train Station.

In order to have a deeper understanding into the context of this proposal, HKAC has organised a site visit for our members.

We believe that every urban design should be for the benefits of the place and people, and needs an overall comprehensive perspective.

Members are invited to join this visit to understand the situation by your own experience, so that we can make sensible decisions for the design of our city.

Guided Tour Speaker:
Mr TAM Po Yiu
Council member of Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design; Harbour Commission member representing HKIUD

Venue: Yuen Long
Meeting point: Exit D of Long Ping MTR station
Language: Cantonese (English translation available upon request)
